An Echo To Someone Else's Life

All morning when the sun creeps in and even at night under the beaming moon, I always have this moment where I tell myself that I must do something that could make a difference—an impact.

Because only through this will I be able to live forever.

How will I be able to to do that?... How can I live a meaningful life?


These thoughts kept me awake, for I don’t know where to start... and as if by magic my question was answered.

I was having lunch with my few colleagues when I heard a noble man beside our table giving an advice to his son saying, "Be grateful and maximize whatever you have now."

This made me ponder of the things that I have now.

Aside from the material things that doesn't truly make me happy and my family who were all far from me— what do I have now?

And it hits me, my questions was answered when a friend of mine sent me this pictures.

These adorable little creatures is the answer to my question, it is them who I have Now.


In a gentle way, I would like to be inside their mind;
I want them to see how life could be cruel and nurturing at the same time;
I want them to hear how I value and respect them, so whenever they were faced in a situation where people will tell them otherwise—they knew better;
I want to make them feel that there is also home outside home, so when they are out on their own they know not to just settle somewhere they don't belong;
I want them to learn the difference between the taste of success and the taste of contentment—though both are sweet the latter should be of greater importance;
I would encourage them to taste the flavors of consequences, on how life can be bitter but still glitters.

I don't know if it's a bad thing to insist a part of me or to desire to have an impact on other lives.

I hope it's not.

As I've said earlier I would just like to live forever, to be an echo in someone else's life, to be somewhere in those rare moments of their life that they felt special, respected and important, to be an inspiration so they can find a beautiful warrior within themselves.
