SLC S23W1/Body Expression and Mimics
Assalamu Alaikum,
Hello everyone,
I am @selina1
From #Bangladesh
I am starting by wishing good health to all Steemit friends. Alhamdulillah by Allah's infinite mercy I am very well. I'm here today to participate in an awesome engagement challenge. This week's engagement challenge team is SLC S23W1/Body Expression and Mimics. Today I will share with you some of my experiences playing with my nieces. So let's get started.
Explain how to play in your own words.
The game is to understand words through body expressions.
Materials required for this game:
- A few pieces of paper
- Pencil
- Player
The rules of the game are that some words will be written in pencil on the pieces of paper.
For the convenience of the players, some words will be written on the papers and they have to be shuffled. Then the small players will choose one of these pieces of paper. There are two minor players here. They pick the papers and tell each other through body expressions and if he can say the words by looking at his gestures he gets a point. After two players play like this, when the word papers are finished, whoever has more points wins.
In this game, me and my two nieces participated in the game. One is six years old and another is four years old. The four year old child is a bit handicapped. But we spend a lot of time with him and he is very talented.
However here I shuffle the papers with simple words written on them and they pick one and show each other the papers.
Look at the paper and tell him through the body gestures and the other answers. I think they are both talents.
Like I'm telling you some words that I wrote on paper. Like teeth, head, horns, eyes etc. They were making gestures as they got the words one by one. Very simple words were used here because my little niece is very small and has some disabilities.
MashaAllah they both scored very well and won big sister but I announced them as winners and gifted chocolates to them both. Because my younger niece also played very well. At this age he used very good gestures to convey words which I thought was great.
How did it feel to play, was it fun?
This game is really fun. Because,
I played this game with my two nieces. As I said before, one niece is older and the other niece is very young. But through this game one was beating the other very well. Another funny thing is that I was laughing so much when the little sister was favoring the big sister over and over again. And when the little sister got the piece of paper saying Hatti Matim Tim's horn, she was referring to the horn with her body gestures ie her fingernails, but the big sister was laughing so much and so was I. We spent time very happily.
Anyway, I love to play anything with the little ones. Also this game can be played sitting down and is a learning game. Also my little niece is a bit different but she loved this game and accepted it with joy. And that's what made me happy to see it all. The two sisters are very similar and often play sports together. I also try to spend time with them sometimes.
Which mime was the easiest to imitate and which was the hardest for the child?
Well, since the children of our house play this game often, they found this game easy. But the four year old child had eye problem. So when the eye note came to him, he was struggling to give his eye expression. Funny thing is that she cleverly closed her eyes and gave a sweet smile. Seeing this, I really felt very proud to see his talent. And the elder sister is even older and wiser. So all the expressions were easy for him. But he always tried to explain the little one with simple gestures. It was also a bit difficult for him. But we all three tried to play this game in a simple way.
Both performed very well in this game and I gifted them both. Because I found both of their expressions to be tough and awesome.

Conclusion
If we adults spend some time with our children in our free time and play some educational games with them, their mind is very good and they can grow well. They can learn a lot through their body language. Through this game, good relationships are formed with each other, like the relationship between my two nieces. Whenever I go to their house or they come to my house I try to spend time with both of them and play fun games.
