Literacy development is based on a multitude of factors. I will be sharing ways to maximize these factors and ensure positive cognitive growth experiences for children.

Tip 1: Restate and Extend

When a child is expressing verbally, listen intently, then restate what was said with grammatical clarity and emphasize vowel sounds and ending consonants. Add genuine and logically sound ideas to what was said. An additional 20% beyond the child's original expression.
