The four landline telephone companies in the city provide telephone services, which are BSNL, Tata Indicom, Reliance Infocomm and Airtel. There are six mobile phone companies: BSNL, Hutch, Airtel, Aircel, Tata Indicom and Reliance Infocom. Phone companies also provide broadband Internet services. The Chennai-based Center for Doordarshan broadcast two surface-to-surface television channels and two satellite television channels. Private TamilTelivery Network, like Sun TV, Raj TV, Jaya TV, Star Vijay, also broadcast in Chennai. SCV and Hathway are the main cable TV service providers. Directly home (DTH) services are available from DD Direct Plus and Dishes TV. Chennai is the only city in India where the conditional accessibility system for television has been exhausted.
