Not 100% sure, but it is unlikely. Sedatives have different side effects on different people. Compared to other sedatives such as benzodiazepines though CBN shouldn't create any psychological complications. Always consult with your doctor first if possible, though! :)

On top of that you would be very unlikely to ever experience any type of rebound effect from CBN where as benzodiazepines are very dangerous to withdrawal from and are not meant for long term use. From my past experience I would also say that loss of appetite would not be an issue as well. Cannabinoids appear to be far less physically addictive than any of the major pharmaceuticals out there. With that being said, psychological addiction can stem from almost anything. If you begin to use a treatment and find positive results you are not very likely to want to give up that treatment. Physically the withdrawal would be very minor but psychologically a person must accept the ailment back that we have used the medicine to mask in the first place. As you can see this may result in what one might call an addiction but that is up to the individual to decide.
