Everything You Need To Know About Next Week’s PGA Championship in Charlotte
By Luciano Hendrix - August 5, 2017
The City of Charlotte is about to host it’s first ever PGA Championship at the Quail Hollow Club – becoming only the third golf course in the North Carolina’s history to host the season’s biggest event.
The 99th PGA Championship will be a crowning achievement for Charlotte’s Quail Hollow after 5 decades of hosting tours. The club first started hosting prominent golf tours in 1969 including; the Kemper Open (1969-79); the World Seniors Invitational (1980-89); and the Quail Hollow Championship (formerly the Wachovia Championship), which began in 2003.
