RE: ✴️ JOE ROGAN TALKS ABOUT STEEM ON HIS POPULAR "JOE ROGAN EXPERIENCE" PODCAST! 🔊
I'm surprised his show is 3 hours long. Wow! Do people really listen to the whole 3 hours? The bitcoin and steem part seemed ok but the rest of the show seemed kind of pointless. The guy that knew about steem should be the one running the show not Joe Rogan. lol
Yeah, it’s usually 2-3 hours long. The guy was his tech guy “Jamie” that knew more about cryptos lol
I wonder if Jamie is already on steemit. Jamie sounded really smart and educated. I enjoyed listening to him but Joe not so much. lol
Jamie is super smart lol. I agree with you that most of the long talk is a waste of time. We on Steemit are on some serious next level stuff how we transfer value much faster and easier.
I might have listened to the whole 3 hours if it would have been Jamie's show. I replied to one of his tweets asking him if he is on steemit. He needs to get on here and do his own show and leave the Joe Rogan show. Joe is a cool guy when it comes so reality TV but I dunno about him hosting a 3 hour talk show.
Some of his shows are extremely valuable! But you need to filter out about 90% of them first haha. Since much of them are just about fighting.
Some of the best I found is with Aubrey Marcus and Duncan Trussell. Sometimes it goes too deep in just weed but those two guys have very interesting philosophy discussions. One of my favourite videos from late 2013.
It's frustrating to get some on Steemit since most are still very ignorant. But we know the true value! Need some big players on board.
Feel free to paraphrase he highlights. lol You could do a show.
He does some that are an hour or 90 minutes but that is usually a sign the show is less interesting.
I usually like listening to them on YouTube and increase the speed to 1.25 or 1.5, if I hear something interesting then I slow it to normal speed.
I really hope we could have an AI in the future that will speed up and slow down automatically just by reading our engagement levels. Since that speed feature is really valuable. I use it also many times. Hey sometimes I even go for 2.0 speed lol! But that's usually extreme slow talkers. Many people add too much basic fluff in their content just to make the video longer. Very annoying!
That would be cool, I also do it at 2.0 sometimes to skip through waffle. For example there is a guy called Luke Thomas who has pretty good videos covering MMA but often he starts the video with 3-4 minutes talking about what soda he's drinking, his dogs bowel movements or his poor internet service provider so it's cool to zip through that until he gets to the sport.
