GRAPPLETHON 2018 - TAP CANCER OUT (FOR CHARITY)

The 3rd of February 2018 I will be attending a 24 hour Grapplethon - where 12 of our members will be sparring for 24 hours for Charity! Along with other clubs across the country.

How to Join?
Taking part is simple! Turn up and roll, If you want to earn a custom t-shirt designed by Meerkatsu you have to fundraise for the event! This years design is below!

Perks of Fundraising
Every person to attends can set up there own fundraising page and if you manage to raise at least £150 will earn a complimentary patch. The more you
raise the more prizes you can achieve from the event (T-Shirts,Hoodies and training gear).

Where Do the Funds Go?
Cancer affects us all from family and friends and due to the different types it can be distressing and overwhelming. Tap Cancer Out supports different beneficiaries every two years instead of focusing on a certain type.
2018 -2019: ALEX'S LEMONADE STAND FOUNDATION
All funds raised go directly to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research, a registered 501(c)3 charity. Careful distribution of our grants allows doctors to bring the latest and most promising life saving treatments to seriously ill children. These grants provide hope for childhood cancer patients. Tap Cancer Out is a jiu-jitsu based 501(c)(3) nonprofit raising awareness and funds for cancer fighting organizations on behalf of the grappling community. We do this primarily through hosting the most philanthropic fundraising tournaments in the world, but also through direct donations and merchandise sales. Since 2011, we’ve hosted dozens of tournaments and have donated more than $550,000 to our beneficiaries.

Thats excellent! Training really is addictive You been to any place up north? I used to train at the Roger Gracie Academy up near Llandudno ages ago. :) Give the post an upvote and I'm hoping to try raise as much as possible ~ also want to see if steem for charity works :D

Not so many places. I did do Ninjutsu for a few weeks thats less grappling and kick boxing but not the same. Octogon is needed!
