Charitable deeds, let's crowd-fund for kids in Bangladesh, fruits and snacks every week, nr. XVII

Pheu, if the weeks continue to run like this I will have to replace those Roman numbers with the ones we use in this day and age! :D But that is not why we are here, we are here for the kids! All proceeds from this post will go to @SchoolForSDG4, created by @azizbd, to help host a weekly fruit program and/or provide educational materials for the kids. Most of you already know what this post is about, after all Charity Fridays have been a thing on my account for 17 weeks now (Around 4 months).

But for the ones reading this for the first time, @SchoolForSDG4 is an education program run by @azizbd(Mohammed) that provides low income family kids with education. And it is not just that, the program is so much more. Mohammed has created an environment were kids can grow up safely and have a chance to acquire education that in turn could help them in the future. It is a beacon of hope for those stuck in poverty, those who want their kids to get out of that hole.

Each week the school is providing the kids with fruit snacks that keep them healthy. @SchoolForSDG4 has been able to allocate backpacks, toothpaste and toothbrushes because of steemit. There have been wonderful donations from kind hearted steemians and locals from Bangladesh. The school has a new laptop to showcase educational materials on and the kids have acquired new exciting games in their classroom thanks to visitors from England. So much has been done and there is so much yet to be overcome. And as always, this post aims to help, even if just a little.

Now, the trip down the memory lane is over, but there will never be enough thanks, so I am not stopping on those. The kids have had another exciting week, they had grapes for this weeks fruit program and they are doing great. Everyone is healthy and happy and the little heads are continuing with their studies, building their future.

Another kind soul has signed up to help the program, @girlbeforemirror is going to send a package for both, mothers and their children. Thanks for your kind heart and your will to help. Not all can give without receiving anything but joy back, but people like you, in this wonderful community are the ones with the most light in their hearts and the ones I look up to the most!

@ADSactly has donated the whole amount of the post payout they received from featuring Mohammeds written post about the @SchoolForSDG4 project and that is a whopping 100SBD and a little more!

@pennsif is donating a dollar every single day and has agreed to pay the schools Internet bill. There will be a crowd-funding event to raise the money for a modem, microphone and speaker as well. Thank you, yet another kind soul from the wast spaces of the web, for caring for complete strangers!

@Azizbd is looking forward for a possibility to work with steemiteducation, to connect educators with the little ones via online classes.

@SchoolForSDG4 is also looking forward to work with Sheepscombe Primary School in United Kingdom. It is a program that connects classrooms and cultures from all over the world as well as helps sharing resources. Basically it is a partnership program of which British council act as medium.

I know this week is more of a donation recap and a thanks, there has been a lot happening, though, and all of it deserves acknowledgment!
