His Story

Wemod is the third child of the Donack Family; a formerly affluential group that lost its power after the Head and his wife passed away in a tragic bloodbath. Wemod is known in the world as the "Cursed King" the only human to have a mastery higher than V with Curse Type II. In his early teens Wemod befriended a young genius by the name of Mathayew Hogens and eventually made his way up into the top 100 rank in the continent, "Northern Ice". Wemod was formerly born with two active powers, but as he grew, he was able to unlock his latent powers that hid inside him.

Author's Note and FAQ

Wemod is one of my earliest character designs back in 2007-2008 and was part of my story, "Powers." He makes his first appearance as he is targeted by his younger sister for being away when his family probably needed him the most. He is blamed for the deaths of his parents during a territorial war as he was seen fleeing the fight in the beginning. What makes him interesting is that he's a main character who isn't a main character. His presence is big throughout the entire story, yet he has little impact towards the plot progression. I put him in solely as the character telling the story through a mixture of first-person and third-person narrative. There is a darker plot that unravels in the background as Wemod narrates what he sees in a carefree manner.

1. Where did you get the inspiration for this character?
   Mainly myself. I took his height and main physical appearance based on my own physique and modeled his personality after mine as well. I did also draw some inspiration from some close friends of mine back then.
2. How many siblings does Wemod have?
   Four. He has two older siblings and two younger siblings. So when I describe as being the third child, he is in fact the middle child.
3. What are powers and their types and masteries?
   I will explain that in a different post altogether. After I finish writing other character profiles. To put it plainly, powers are the simplified way of saying supernatural and inhuman abilites that manifest the people of my world.
4. Where and when is the story set in?
