The One That Worked
Have you ever told yourself "from tomorrow on i will..." ?
Have you done it for so long you don't even remember how long?
Well i'm guilty as charged, and i've surely done it for more than a year in a row probably, and several years now on and off.
I guess i've been "wanting to change" for more than 10 years now, but as Skynrd aptly put,
LOOOOORD KNOWS I CAN'T Change!!! And hey, that automatically becomes a subconscious belief once you've set yourself up with a couple half assed attempts, and failed.
Early on, around the age of 15, I was exposed to J Krishnamurti's thought (or "A" thought made available to us through his sharp nosed british accented reluctant messaiah ass :P )
"If you begin to understand what you are without trying to change it, then what you are undergoes a transformation."
I totally identified with that, and it was really great, and helped me to accept myself and become comfortable in my own shoes, a great thing, which is quite hard for many people.
A bit too comfortable perhaps. :P
Well, there comes a point in life where you decide you need to take your life into your own hands and make conscious efforts to bring change in certain aspects of you life.
That brings us, Mr Anderson, Inextricably, Here.
So its been 6 months since my first post, about making a change, but today i'm gonna show myself and all of you how its done.
Step 1) It is already done. Read the title of this post. instead of writing plan no 316, I called it the one that workED.
Step 2 ) Make a time bound, CLEAR, down to the Brass tacks plan , wtih clearly defined goals -
1) I am going to sleep from 11 to 6 everyday except saturday and maybe sundays sometimes.
This is from tonight until Nov 7 2018 ( that leaves me with 16 mins to finish this post and be in bed! QUICk!!)
2) My first one hour 6-7 will be without my phone picked up, gratitude, brushing teeth, drinking a liter of water, Yoga, eye exercises
3)7-8:30 will be making and eating breakfast, followed by a walk on the farm
4)9:00 - 11:00 two hours of good farm work
5)A post lunch nap anytime before 3Pm of not more than 30 mins
6) Flexible work in the afternoon, sometimes farm, sometimes indoor, sometimes roaming around, etc
7)compulsory watching the last 15 mins before sunset
8) A bath before I get indoors and to doing computer work.
9)dinner between 7-10 depending on how hungry we are and whether we're cooking or not
10) 10-11 meditation without fail.
2 minutes to hit the hay!
Step 3) share your plans with people so the commitment is out there (completed by writing them out here on #steemit and sharing it
step 1.5) It would be a really important one to include, of making small and achievable goals, but sorry mama, i'm gonna shoot for the moon and hit the orion nebula, and IN CASE i dont, ill try again and again till i do! just like i did when i learnt to walk. Hope you can show the same unconditional love and support
Gute Nacht!
