SteemParents Challenge #1 - Proud Parents
A weekly challenge has arrived for parents!
This will be a different challenge every week, and the prizes will vary. They'll start out being liquid rewards from @steemparents posts, and evolve into bigger, better prizes for parents and children alike!
We ( @thatsweeneyguy and @cryptomomma ) only have a little over 500 followers between us, so letting steemit know about our new curation effort may be a bit difficult on our own. This week, we would like you to help with this, by telling your audience why you're a proud SteemParent.
°°The Challenge°°
- Write a post explaining your favorite thing about being a parent.
- Make your first tag #parentchallenge
- Mention @steemparents in your post.
- Upvote this post
- Comment below with a link to your post
- Follow @steemparents
°°The Prize°°
5 lucky steemians will be randomly selected for a bonus. This bonus will be determined by the amount of donations we receive over the next week. If the bonus isn't at least 1 sbd per winner, I will personally cover the difference. That's on top of what you earn on your challenge post!
I meant to split the rewards for this post, but had my post setting at 100% power up, and didn't look at it before I clicked 'Post'.
All the better, I suppose. The rewards will go toward helping curate great parenting!

Great! Just wait and see what we've got in store for future challenges 😃 This first one gets people talking, but I've got crafting challenges, things to get kids involved, more writing challenges, and I've got this grandious idea for a 'Steemit Science Fair' 😍
I want to start giving away different sorts of prizes too. Things like gift cards for date night, toys, and even things like magazine or 'monthly box' subscriptions!
