What an amazing and insightful post. I keep battling with my weight and anything that helps is appreciated. However, I lose grasp of my weight lose trials with plans exceeding three months. Shorter periods work best! Waiting for more tips:)
Best tip I can give is to get rid of sugar(sweets) and to avoid potatoes, bread and pasta at the start.
