Hey there, I'm new to your page and just wanted to say that I personally find this punishment to be cruel. Humiliating a child is a pretty awful way to discipline and correct action.

It is a shame that this child is now negatively imprinted in a way that could hold back her own chance at an education.

I would be interested to know more about what happens with this. Sometimes it helps when groups will send letters and petition the authorities to create change.
