Hi guys, I purchased 2-year ETH mining plan from Genesis mining .
Total MH/s purchase:34 MH/s + 0.75MH/s (Free)
I input the daily mined data to keep track on Genesis Mining performance
Here is the review:
Total mined: 0.6830553 ETH as 5-7-2017
Drop in Mined rate(per MH/s): 51.57% (since first received ETH as 30-5-2017)
Previous Mined rate: 0.00041714 ETH/MH/Day
Latest Mined rate: 0.00043072 ETH/MH/Day
Daily Drop in Mined rate: 3.15% ( From 4-7-2017 to 5-7-2017 )
Summary:
Based on the projection of above data, the cost would be fully covered at 205 days ( ~6.83 months).
(assuming no further change to ETH price and daily mined rate)

With the unforeseen in mining difficulty, you would get less and less payout per day in either building your own rig or joining the cloud mining.
It is better to buy the coins directly and hold for it!

I would suggest you to mine other coin rather than ETH.
ETH will go to POS stage soon..
The difficulty is going to affect you regarless. I put a RX470 in my home PC and have a few cloud mining contracts with genesis. I like to diversify. The learning curve is crazy when you set the stuff up yourself. Lots of guessing and trial by error.
Is it better to invest in clous mining or buy mining rig instead.
