"Hello guys ! I'm Momo, I'm a 6 years old male Poodle!" =D

Like the usual dogs,
his old daily routines were jumping up & down,
begging for food on table, running around the house

Unfortunately, around 2 years ago, one day it was found lying on the floor,
keep woofing but couldn't make a small movement.
We thought that might be his lower limbs were fractured while jumping around,
so we immediately sent him to 24-hrs animal hospital.
After the MRI scan, he was diagnosed

Grade 5 spinal disc contusion

which is the most serious condition that he had high chance that couldn't walk again even if operation done
Finally, an urgent operation was done on that night.
His life was saved, but there's absent of sensation of his lower part of body,
He couldn't move his back legs, couldn't walk,
and couldn't pass urine by himself as he couldn't control the bladder muscle

Poor Momo's back legs are always straighten because he can't relax and control the muscle well

A polite boy needs to have manner when go out! Don't wet the pants!

During these rehab years, we bring him to the veterinarian for acupuncture to stimulate the nerve sensation
press the urinary bladder to help him voiding at lease three times daily,
and also bring him out for walking to train his back legs muscle

Day by day, he can now stand & walk without aids, though in a stupid way=P
Hope Momo can stay healthy forever!

This story may be a long, but I do hope all the dogs' owners can pay more attention to them, especially the small dogs
they are genetically a high risk group to induce spinal disc contusion :(
