My trial of cooking "Seared Rare Tuna Sashimi" [Food Pictures Warning]
Recently I got some raw tuna sashimi from a local frozen food store, which I have already talked about in the previous post (go check it out !)~

Today I'm going to sear the tune sashimi into some dished called Tuna Tataki
Here shows how I cooked it :)
Defroze in room temperature in paper towel ~3hrs
Season with sea salt and little bit pepper
Preheated ceramic frying pan ~200C
(Use high smoking point oil here or they will fume a lot)
Sear all sides of the tuna with medium-high heat
(Around 30-50s per side)
sizzlesizzlesizzlesizzle~~
Cut it into slices of 5-10mm
and Enjoy :D//

I guess I will stick to salmon instead :)
Hahahaha..the importhant thing to eat delecious :-)
hahaha true~~
But you will become boring if you are sticking to one food only xd
mmmmm. looks like you did it perfect. Seared tuna is one of the best foods. Particularly over a salad!
true! but sadly I do not have any salad at the moment :(
Wish I can have chance to grab some...
Do you cook other fishes than tuna?
Yes, Sometimes Salmon or saba :)
But tuna is my favourite~
I see.
I just got few opportunities to try them...
Sashimi is not in my list, and I seldom buy them to cook with as I don't figure what's the best way to do so.
I guess the easiest way is to just pan fry them anyway haha
okay may give it a try later
Thank you anyways! :)
Remeber to take photos of it to share ^_^
Looking forward to your post:)
