Orange Flan and Brandy

Course

Ingredients
370 gr of condensed milk
4 large or 5 medium eggs
The measure of the milk can
30 ml of Brandy or to taste
Vanilla to taste
Large half orange zest or if small 1 orange and the juice of this
2 tablespoons cornstarch

Elaboration:

  • we pour all the ingredients in a bowl and beat
    in a flanera or in a round aluminum mold with a lid or we put aluminum foil on top
  • we add the sugar bottom to the mold and add some water to simmer to make the caramel (important the mold must be able to cook) if we do not know how to make a candy we can buy it in the super made )
  • we move the caramel a little around the mold and add the previous condensed milk mixture
    we put the mold to cook in a water bath for about an hour at medium speed
  • How do we know you're ready? Because we put a knife and it will be clean
  • Let cool and put in the fridge overnight to harden well.
  • when it is cold we pass a knife around to help unmold

Up as ornament

1 chop the other half of the orange and chop it into slices

  1. We put it to cook with 100 ml of water and 50 gr of sugar so that the orange is cooked, we cover the pot.
    Cook until caramelized orange is left
