Aquí en Venezuela tenemos una pequeña parten de ese país germano lleno de tradiciones y costumbres, así es La Colonia Tovar, ubicada en el estado Miranda en una región montañosa donde sus colonos alemanes decidieron hacer de este país su patria.
Here in Venezuela we have a small part of that Germanic country full of traditions and customs, this is La Colonia Tovar, located in the Miranda state in a mountainous region where its German settlers decided to make this country their homeland.
Entrando en el pueblo podemos ver la arquitectura alemana casas enormes y techos de dos aguas, es una ciudad turística donde podemos comprar suvenir, tomarnos un café o un dulce de fresas con crema. Hay venta de hortalizas y frutas muy frescas por ejemplo: pepinos pimentones, duraznos, naranjas, fresas y mucho mas.
Entering the village we can see the German architecture, huge houses and gabled roofs, it is a tourist city where we can buy souvenirs, have a coffee or a strawberries with cream. There are very fresh vegetables and fruits for sale: cucumbers, peppers, peaches, oranges, strawberries and much more.
Hay una plaza Bolívar y al fondo de esta plaza vemos la Iglesia de San Martín de Tours católica construida en abril de 1843 según me informaron.
There is a Plaza Bolívar and at the end of this square we can see the Church of San Martín de Tours catholic built in April 1843, as they informed me.
Hay un mercado en la calle que funcionan casi todos los días pero es más abundante los fines de semana.
