A city to enjoy
Mérida
Around the world, there are so many countries, cities, places where you can meet new cultures, enjoy with family, relieve stress, and other advantages which make you come back to in. One of those cities is Merida (in Venezuela), a beautiful place full of people well-educated, great landscapes, mountains, a delicious gastronomy and it has a fresh and cold weather.
Firstly, Mérida has a lot of customs, among these are the “Paradura del niño” which is a catholic tradition celebrated in January and it represents the baby Jesus already can get up; another is the “Festival del Violin” in December, where a group of people meeting for playing their instruments with the goal of strengthening the Region’s music; they also do fairs and expositions in which tourist meet new things about the Merida, for example, the “Feria Internacional del Sol” is a cultural event which is celebrated on Carnivals and you can enjoy of bullfighting, concerts, and other activities.
On the other hand, people can find pleasing places like the cable car named Mukumbari, where you are able to appreciate from the heights the colorful city; another is “Los Aleros”, an ideal park with a conventional style for having a nice day; the “Sierra la Culata”, a big mountain full of plants and with a very cold weather.
It is not the only good things that Merida contain, if we check their gastronomy we can notice there are some delicious foods and drinks like Andean hallaca and chicha, soups, sweets and others meals that make a pleasurable stay.
Finally, if you are looking for a space for admiring the nature, learning about new traditions and delighting with tasty meals, definitely Merida is the ideal place, especially whether you are a person who likes to have good experiences.
