Me creé un GoFundMe: "Ayúdame a emigrar con mis mascotas"

Buena vida, comunidad.

 Como consecuencia de la situación en mi país, mi familia y yo nos hemos visto obligados a emigrar, ya que nos ha hecho imposible seguir viviendo en Venezuela y hemos tomado la que sería la decisión más importante y dolorosa de nuestras vidas. Acudo a ustedes con todo respeto para dar a conocer mi página en GoFundMe.

 Tengo tres gatitos, a los que amo más que a nada en el mundo. Desde hace tiempo he querido traer más a la casa, pero mantener una mascota aquí es un reto inmenso, por lo que tuve que empezar a cuidar a los animales de mi zona y comunidad pero no darles un buen lugar para dormir, lo cual me duele mucho. 

 Tenemos casi todo listo para emigrar, y yo -de hecho- me iré antes a otro país, y luego se irá mi familia. Sin embargo, me encuentro muy frustrada porque no se imaginan lo complejo que es emigrar con mascotas (y más si son tres). Debo sacar muchos permisos y vacunas, y comprar tres kennels que actualmente tienen precios por las nubes -incluso usados-. 

 Hace unos meses acudí a una empresa que se encarga de todo el papeleo y de transportarlos hasta el destino (en este caso, Colombia), y haberla encontrado me hizo inmensamente feliz porque pensé que al fin podría tener una opción. Mi familia y yo vamos a viajar por tierra, y de por si es muy peligroso para nosotros mismos, y pienso que podría serlo aún más hacerlo con mis mascotas (sin kennels). Al recibir la repuesta de esta empresa, de saber sus costos me entristecí porque se me iba a hacer imposible pagarlo, y había pensado que no importa cuánto fuera lo iba a lograr, pero la realidad es distinta.

Tengo una conocida que se vió en una situación muy difícil porque tuvo que dormir a sus gatitos, ya que no se los podía llevar por los altos costos de vacunas y demás, y tuvo que renunciar a ellos para enviarlos a un sitio feliz y tranquilo, en lugar de dejarlos pasar hambre o dejarlos con familias adoptivas desconocidas (acá, en Venezuela, mantener a una mascota se está volviendo algo extremo y todas las familias optan por echarlos a la calle, puesto que es casi seguro que si dejas a la tuya con una va a pasar lo mismo). De verdad no quiero verme en esa situación ni acostumbrarme a la idea de que mis gatitos no existirán más. 

 Mis mascotas son parte de mi familia. Los amo así como a mis padres y a mi hermana, y para mí no es una opción dejarlos solos o con otras personas para que les den hogar.  

 De verdad necesito toda la ayuda que puedan brindarme y se los agradecería toda la vida. Se me pone el corazón chiquitito al escribir todo esto.

 Help me to emigrate with my pets

As a consequence of the situation in my country, my family and I have been forced to emigrate, since it has made it impossible for us to continue living in Venezuela and we have taken what would be the most important and painful decision of our lives. I have three kittens, which I love more than anything in the world.

For some time I have wanted to bring more kittens to the house, but keeping a pet here is a huge challenge, so I had to start taking care of the animals in my area and community but not giving them a good place to sleep, which hurts a lot. We have almost everything ready to emigrate, and I -in fact- will go to another country soon, and then my family will move after. However, I am very frustrated because you cannot imagine how complex it is to emigrate with pets (and more if there are three).

I have to take out many permits and vaccines, and buy three kennels that currently have skyrocketing prices - even used ones. A few months ago I went to a company that takes care of all the paperwork and to transport them to the destination (in this case, Colombia), and having found it made me immensely happy because I thought that at least I could have an option.

My family and I are going to travel by land, and this way it is very dangerous for ourselves, and I think it could be even more with my pets (without kennels).

When I received the answer from this company to know its costs I was sad because it was going to make it impossible to pay for it, and I had thought that no matter how much I was going to achieve it, but the reality is different. My pets are part of my family. I love them as well as my parents and my sister, and for me it is not an option to leave them alone or with other people to be given a home. I really need all the help you can give me and I would appreciate it hard. My heart shrinks when I write down all this.
