Victor Manuel Alcalá Rangel nace en la ciudad de Cumaná Estado Sucre el 3 de julio de 1984, sus padres Manuel Alcalá y Roselia de Alcalá, da sus primeros pasos en la música a la edad de 4 años de la mano de su Tío Carlos "Morocho" Rangel quien fue sus guía hasta la hora de su muerte. Victor Alcalá comienza sus estudios musicales en la Escuela de Música " José María Gómez Cardiel" a la edad de 6 años en la cátedra de cuatro, participo en diversos festivales colegiales obteniendo el primer lugar en todos, cuando contaba 12 años ingresa a las filas del "Mariachi Oriente" como voz infantil y luego de cumplir los 16 años se convirtió en la voz líder de esa agrupación, cabe destacar, que desde muy pequeño existía en él una inquietud por incursionar en la música llanera, es a los 17 años cuando logra ese objetivo con la conformación de la Agrupación "Juventud Llanera" donde se desempeño como cuatrista y voz líder hasta el año 2008, al año siguiente ingresa a las filas de la Agrupación "Estirpe Llanero" bajo la tutela del Profesor Ángel Astudillo Así es como nace su primer proyecto de música llanera titulado Lluvia el cual fue bautizado el 22 de noviembre del 2014. Ha compartido tarima con varios artistas exponentes de la música llanera entre ellos Reinaldo Armas, Luis Silva, Rummy Olivo, Alejandro e Ignacio Rondón entre otros. Actualmente es Profesor de canto coral y cuatro en el proyecto Simón Bolívar del Sistema Nacional de Orquesta y Coros Infantiles Y Juveniles de Venezuela, fue Creador Director de la Estudiantina "Tío Simón" de la Comunidad de "Boca de Sabana", es casado, Publicista, Mercadólogo y apasionado por la cocina
