Antes que nada un saludo muy cordial a nuestra directora del colegio, sub directora, coordinadores, profesores, personal del protocolo, ambiente, familiares, amigos y conocidos que están acá presentes y por último a mis queridos y apreciados estudiantes, no se preocupen porque los saludé en última instancia porque la biblia dice que los primeros serán los últimos y los últimos los primeros. En mis tiempos de estudiante universitario conversaba mucho con un vigilante por las mañanas antes de entrar a clase y en una ocasión me dijo: Hermano espero que cuando se gradúe como profesor no haga lo que muchos profesores de aquí hacen, pasan en sus carros y son incapaces de girar el cuello para vernos y decirnos si quiera “BUEN DÍA”.

No tengo título, no me gradué; pero tengo lo que ellos no tienen a pesar de su post grado, magister, incluso doctorado, ¿Sabes qué es? Me preguntó. A lo cual le respondí “EDUCACIÓN” Exacto, me respondió. Lo que nos hace grande como personas no es la posición o título que tengamos, son nuestros actos. Me quedé un rato pensando y le dije: tengo 4 años estudiando acá y esa es la mejor clase de educación que he recibido. No vino de un docente con especialidad, sino de un vigilante. Comprendí que la humildad es importante en el ser humano. Humildad como la de nuestro DIOS que a pesar de ser rechazado constantemente por muchos sigue allí insistente, tocando nuestra puerta.

Pregúntense ¿Qué hago por mi prójimo? ¿Le extiendo mi mano cuando esta decaído? ¿Le ofrezco mi apoyo cuando más lo necesita? Muchos juzgan sin razón en vez de ayudar, olvidan lo que dijo el apóstol Juan: “Con la misma vara que midas serás medido” o lo dicho por el mismo Jesús: “Aquel que esté libre de pecado que lance la primera piedra” El propósito de nuestra vida debe girar en ayudar a todos aunque no nos agradezcan, saludar aún sin obtener respuesta, hablar de DIOS así no nos escuchen porque DIOS no es motivo de vergüenza dice la Biblia. Del único que tenemos que preocuparnos por lo que piense de nosotros es de DIOS, cuando intenten gritar o insultar al prójimo véanme a mí en esa persona decía Jesús, les aseguro que el mundo sería mucho mejor de lo que hoy es.

Este es mi primer discurso como padre y me siento orgulloso tanto de mi esposa como de mi hija Sara, espero que cuando crezca sea una servidora constante de DIOS llevando su mensaje a todo aquel que lo necesite; ella es y será testimonio de su infinita misericordia y amor.

También quiero agradecer su ayuda, a todos en general, principalmente por sus oraciones y por su apoyo en todo sentido en esos momentos tan difíciles, cuando me preguntan el por qué sigo dando clase les respondo; en primer lugar porque es lo que más amo, y en segundo lugar porque no me importa mi sueldo así sea poco o mucho, me interesa ayudar a jóvenes como ustedes a ser hombres y mujeres de bien, como decía Don Bosco “Buenos cristianos y honrados ciudadanos” Un ejemplo de eso fue cunando estaba en el hospital con mi hija, ayuda de todas partes incluso hasta internacional no se hicieron esperar cuando se enteraron por lo que estaba pasando. Por eso digo que mis estudiantes son, fueron y siempre serán parte de mi vida, soy lo que soy en mi carrera profesional gracias a ustedes y por eso mi agradecimiento infinito.

Siempre recuerdo lo orgullosa que estaba mi madre y a cada instante me lo decía y cuando no lo expresaba, en su rostro lo notaba, hoy observo esa misma expresión reflejada en todos ustedes y como en este instante no pueden ir a abrazar a sus hijos denles un fuerte aplauso.Ahora ese orgullo debe verse reflejado en ustedes en forma de agradecimiento, los padres son lo más significativo que uno tiene en la vida, nos apoyan en todo momento y siempre están allí a pesar de nuestras fallas, entonces hijos míos académicamente hablando, denle un fuerte aplauso a sus padres.

Este año no fue fácil, estuvo lleno de emociones que no olvidaremos, perdimos un compañero, mi hermano Javier, un ser maravilloso que nunca olvidaré, me enseñó a no darnos nunca por vencidos, siento que es el estudiante más responsable que he tenido en mi carrera como profesor, hablo como si aún está presente porque para mí lo está y lo seguirá estando. Poseía todas las cualidades que un buen ser humano pueda tener, estando en el hospital me escribía diciéndome “profesor… qué asignó para hacerlo” ¿Qué joven estando en un hospital enfermo le escribe a su profesor para preguntarle qué asignó? Un ser único e inigualable como él, estarás siempre en la memoria de todos como lo que fuiste en vida “El Pequeño Gigante”.

A nuestra querida profesora Esmeralda, ejemplo de dedicación y constancia, hablando con los estudiantes me decían que será difícil que conozcan a una profesora con una ética tan arraigada como la de ella, a mi modo de ver fue profesora de profesores, nunca se le escuchó decir una mala palabra, la recordaremos por su valentía, murió respetando sus principios y eso se observa en raras ocasiones, estará siempre en nuestros corazones como la más responsable e intachable docente que hayamos conocido.

Hay una estudiante acá presente a la que admiro muchísimo, no sé cómo hace para ser tan fuerte, a pesar de perder a sus padres demostró y sigue demostrando una gallardía tremenda, estas aquí graduándote y donde quiera que estén seguro están mirándote orgullosos. Podrán no estar físicamente pero siempre estarán contigo en espíritu guiándote, recuerden todo aquel que ha perdido un familiar, no se muere quien se va, se muere quien se olvida. No me gusta el silencio para guardar respeto a quien no está físicamente, me gustan los aplausos para recordarlos como lo que fueron, alegres y llenos de energía. Éste aplauso es para ellos.

En mi trayectoria como profesor he tenido muchos grupos cada uno con cualidades diferentes, la cualidad de éste sería el compromiso por aprender, si hay algo que me enorgullece es saber lo mucho que han aprendido. Los tuve desde primer año y fui observando cada etapa y aquí estamos culminando ésta que será única, la universitaria no se compara, aquí quedan los mejores recuerdos y emociones que nunca podrán olvidar. Momentos como oír cantar a Yesica, escuchar los poemas de Francisco el popular “Churro” a Ronny tratando de conseguir “Wifi” con la Canaima, a Frank jugando fútbol y todos detrás de él tratando de quitarle el balón, la llegada al liceo y Pastora diciéndoles que se quiten el suéter, a Osbeidy y Aurisbel llevándole una empanada en ocasiones al profesor de Ciencias de la Tierra y Premilitar cuando se le notaba el hambre, en fin; pasillos y salones, cada espacio del liceo traerá a nuestra memoria momentos inolvidables.

El hecho de estar acá dedicándoles unas palabras no significa que serán las últimas, saben que siempre podrán contar conmigo. En representación de todos los profesores que les dimos clase les deseamos una vida llena de triunfos, si se dedican a estudiar derecho hagan cumplir las leyes al pie de la letra, si se inclinan por la administración y la contaduría sepan hacerlo eficientemente, saquen todos los cálculos y adminístrenlos correctamente pero no se olviden de calcular sus acciones y administrar satisfactoriamente sus vidas.

Si es por la ingeniería inventen nuevos sistemas que ayuden a preservar la naturaleza, si te gustan los animales y quieren salvarlos la veterinaria es la mejor opción, recuerden lo dicho por Gandhi “Una sociedad se juzga de acuerdo a cómo trata a sus animales”, la psicología no es para tratar a personas locas, si la ejercen ayuden a resolver los conflictos existenciales en las familias pero no sin antes resolver los propios, si les gusta la comunicación social luchen por hacerla libre, no siguiendo lo que otros les impongan sino lo que su ética les diga.

Muchos estudiarán medicina y es necesario que revisen a cabalidad sus modos de enseñanza, señalan que los médicos no deben involucrase con los pacientes, viéndolos simplemente como objeto de estudio para curar una enfermedad, no involucrarse es inevitable, si vamos a tratar de curar un mal que sea la indiferencia y no la muerte, la muerte no la podemos curar pero la indiferencia sí. Cultiven una vez siendo médicos una gran relación con las enfermeras y enfermeros, conocen más que cualquier otro, tratan con porquería todos los días y aun así siguen amando lo que hacen a pesar de no poseer todos los implementos para ejercer su labor atendiendo a las personas, lo digo por experiencia, visiten hospitales y lleven sustento a quien lo necesite y lo más importante oren por ellos para que DIOS los sane.

Desde joven escuchaba y también ahora escucho decir a muchas personas frases como estas “No estudien educación que eso no da dinero” no da mucho dinero pero llena el espíritu y llena de vida. Si alguno de ustedes decide hacerlo aprenda a escuchar, luego a pensar y posteriormente a aplicar todos los conocimientos, pero sobre todo aprendan a hacerlo con pasión y amor, sino no sirve. Cuando un adulto le pregunta a un joven qué carrera va a estudiar y éste le responde; el adulto pregunta ¿Y eso da dinero? Ya no estudiamos las profesiones por pasión y amor sino por interés. Un pequeño filósofo llamado Máximo dice que cuando haces lo que te gusta no volverás a trabajar nunca y por eso estoy acá dando éste discurso, al igual que a Jesús veo mi profesión como un modo de vida y no como un trabajo.

Para finalizar lo haré de una manera diferente, dándole gracias a DIOS por todo, mis queridos estudiantes colóquense de pie: Gracias Señor por la vida, por la familia, por los amigos y conocidos, en esta oportunidad deseo que ayudes a estos jóvenes a conseguir su verdadera vocación para que sean personas de bien y sobre todo te sigan cada día, bendice a sus familias para que siempre puedan estar unidos, no permitas que tú espíritu se vaya de sus hogares. Bendice nuestro país Venezuela y que reine la paz en cada rincón, permite que la tolerancia llene nuestros corazones y sepamos respetar la opinión del prójimo.

Quita las armas de quienes las poseen y que nuestra única arma seas TÚ para poder hacer tú voluntad aquí en la tierra y en el cielo también. Nadie nace odiando a otro ser humano, eso es algo que el enemigo ha sembrado en la mayoría de los corazones en el mundo, ayúdanos a quitar de fondo esa semilla y siembra TÚ en nuestros corazones la semilla del amor, riégala cada día para que crezca como el árbol más frondoso del mundo y así cuando llegue el momento de morir hayamos alcanzado lo que decía Martin Luther King amarnos todos como hermanos.

Es difícil Señor en tiempos como estos pensar en ideales, sueños y esperanzas, solo para ser aplastados por la cruda realidad. Es un milagro que no abandonemos todos esos deseos pero TÚ haces que nos aferremos a ellos y no dejarlos ir jamás, permite que sigamos creyendo a pesar de todo que las personas son buenas de verdad en el fondo de su corazón. Los quiero mucho y que DIOS nos bendiga a todos... AMÉN…

I do not have a degree, I did not graduate; but I have what they do not have in spite of their post degree, magister, even doctorate, do you know what it is? I wonder. I stayed for a while thinking and I said: I have been studying here for 4 years and that is the best kind of education I have received. This year was not easy, it was full of emotions that we will not forget, we lost a partner, my brother Javier, a wonderful being that I will never forget, he taught me never to give up, I feel that he is the most responsible student I have had in my life. career as a teacher, I speak as if it is still present because for me it is and will continue to be. He possessed all the qualities that a good human being could have, being in the hospital he wrote to me saying "professor ... what was assigned to do it". What young person being in a sick hospital writes to his professor to ask him what he assigned? To our dear teacher Esmeralda, example of dedication and perseverance, talking to the students told me that it will be difficult for them to meet a teacher with an ethic as deeply rooted as hers, in my view she was a teacher of teachers, she was never heard say a bad word, we will remember her for her courage, she died respecting her principles and that is rarely observed, she will always be in our hearts as the most responsible and impeccable teacher we have ever met.

There is a student here who I admire very much, I do not know how she can be so strong, in spite of losing her parents she demonstrated and continues to demonstrate a tremendous gallantry, you are graduating here and wherever you are sure you are looking proud. They may not be physically but they will always be with you in spirit guiding you, remember everyone who has lost a family member, who does not die, who dies who forgets. I do not like silence to respect those who are not physically, I like the applause to remember them as they were, happy and full of energy. This applause is for them.

In my career as a teacher I have had many groups each with different qualities, the quality of this would be the commitment to learn, if there is something that makes me proud is knowing how much they have learned. I had them since the first year and I was observing each stage and here we are culminating this one that will be unique, the university does not compare, here are the best memories and emotions that can never be forgotten. Many will study medicine and it is necessary that they thoroughly review their teaching methods, point out that doctors should not be involved with patients, seeing them simply as an object of study to cure a disease, not getting involved is inevitable, if we are going to try to cure an illness let it be indifference and not death, death can not cure it but indifference itself. Once they are doctors, cultivate a great relationship with nurses, they know more than any other, they deal with crap every day and still love what they do despite not having all the implements to perform their work attending to people , I say it from experience, visit hospitals and bring sustenance to those who need it and most importantly pray for them so that GOD can heal them.

Since I was young I listened and also now I hear many people say phrases like "Do not study education that does not give money" does not give much money but fills the spirit and full of life. If any of you decide to do it, learn to listen, then to think and then apply all the knowledge, but above all, learn to do it with passion and love, if not, do not. When an adult asks a young person what career he is going to study and he responds to it; the adult asks And that gives money? We no longer study the professions by passion and love but by interest.
