True story. Made my first post last night. Made my second post this morning.
After my second post, the stream slowly started to fill more and more with claims of censorship.
Wrote my third post.
Commented on some of the censorship posts.
Make a forth post - started getting warning my posts may be spam.
Screw this site. My google plus following is equal to more than 1/10 of this entire website.
You guys claim to be censor free and a place for people to speak, but the truth because the community decides, this place has more censorship than any site I have ever been on.
You all have fun, it could be a great platform if the creators cared enough not to let this happen.
How were you run out? You didn't even receive a single flag? If your skin is that thin I guess you wouldn't last that long here anyway..

In case you don't know, the underlying posts here (steem) is separate from the main way to access it (steemit.com) and it is steemit.com that auto hides (there's no actual censorship, just auto hiding) and while right now there is no great alternative that does not also hide posts, I think there is a gap in the market for it and it's possible that a version that does not hide it will be made sometime.
So check back in a few months 🙂 It's a lot better than G+ that's for sure.
I agree with you, why does Steemcleaners have to decide what is good or bad? I believe I can make my own decisions, if you copy an article that I find interesting you have done me a favor even if you didn't write it. It's this type of crap like Steemcleaners or the Cheetah bot or others like them that are bringing this platform down. In fact I am seeing less and less articles every day, and most of them aren't even articles they are just videos. Kill off the bots, that would go a long way in improving this platform, otherwise I don't see any future here.
anyone can start a steem cleaners or even an anti steem cleaners. just buy enough power to over ride theirs.

To me that's not the point, my problem is that it is useless, it does nothing useful and yet it makes people leave the platform.
steemcleaners was created during a time when payouts were easily in triple digits and too many people were coping and pasting other work and calling it their own. Steemit was becoming a place where you could come here and make a lot of money off of other peoples hard work.
it was huge a problem last summer. Like it was leading to disaster for the platform.
Steemcleaners has place here. I don't always agree with their decisions and think they overlook some things and under look other things. I have butted heads with the people who run it before on things that have nothing to do with Steemcleaners.
Regardless of all issues any one for any reason to have with steemcleaners i can promise you this.
They are reasonable people that you can talk to. They listen and want what, at least what they think, is best for the platform. Just talk to them in steemchat and explain.
Well if you look at how the platform is right now I think anyone can rightly say Steemcleaners didn't do it's job, it didn't live up to it's expectations. When something doesn't work you get rid of it.
Look once I commented on a 3000 year old Chinese legend and they said I was plagiarizing a legend and should at least change it to my own words. Are they nuts? It's a legend damn it, you can't change it. They are useless and are actually dumb. And Cheetah bot is worse, it should be Cheetah butt.
cheetahbot and steemcleaners are they same people.
Things have changed a lot here since it began.
Steemit is a game of Politics more than anything else. Which sucks.
And another thing those big rewards were the main reason most people joined in the first place, now a really good article can make $80.00, of which only about 60% makes it to the author, you write 10 good ones a month and you might make 4-500 dollars hardly enough to keep the good writers here. The only good ones who stay are from third world countries were 400 dollars is good money, but unfortunately their English isn't so good so they have to use Google Translate which is crap so you end up reading an article which originally was very good but got lost in the translation. So, even at it's beginning Steemcleaners was a dumb idea.
