We believe that being an artist is something that transcends beyond the title and becomes a way to work for the other, we will contribute so that Celf becomes that space for the artists who already make life within Steemit, and also become the home of many more who can join so that the Hispanic community continues to grow, as it has done in large part thanks to projects like @cervantes and @castellano.

I have been working directly and indirectly on this project, since September of last year, it all started with a dream, of those that come from nothing, I call them moments of enlightenment. I was considering if there was a remote possibility of contributing for art to obtain the value it deserves, and help to destroy that paradigm that we learn since we were kids, that you can not make money with art, that if you are an artist you are destined to be a failure, or to do things you do not like to be successful.

The founders of Celf arrived in Steemit around the month of October 2017, we have been participants in how Steemit offers the possibility of adding value to each human being and his creations, as well as creating communities that are economically viable, generating a profitability for his members.

My name is José Duque, I am @joedukeg in Steemit, I carry out the General Direction of this project, all the work that we have and we are achieving, would not have been possible without my colleagues and partners: Robinson Gil @robinsonlgil, Jeilin Espinel @jeilinespinel , Oriana Peñalver @cronosclocks and Camilo Ferrua @camiloferrua. We are a community project, with the mission of connecting Spanish-speaking artists who work in one way or another in artistic creation, and provide these creators with an ecosystem in which to monetize their content using the tools that Steemit provides.

Because of this, our way to contributing to the creation of quality artistic content, will be publishing on our blog as a digital artistic magazine varied content in various sections, film, plastic arts, music, literature, etc. And supporting other artists who create content for Steemit, as a curation project.

Celf as a Curation Project

As a curation project we have achieved an impact that we did not really believe in such a short time, in 2 weeks of work, presenting the project, knocking doors, we got 3 delegations of STEEM POWER, a total of 2200SP. Thanks mainly to @ausbitbank, @karensuestudios and @nnnarvaez.

I have decided to allocate 100% of my SP (2246 SP), to vote 10 post a day 100%, this allow us to recover 20% each day and keep the STEEM POWER between 100% and 80%, in this way we manage to give incentive and support to many authors weekly. We are already around 160 members in our Discord server https://discord.gg/fbpR3Ef

We have voted a total of 120 articles, and for the last 4 days they have been generating an average of 0.35 each thanks to our vote and the vote of our curation trail.

• What is the true goal behind content curation?

For us, it goes beyond simply rewarding content, it is also about creating quality standards in terms of artistic creation in Steemit, this will allow our members to receive support from other projects and to be successful and self sufficient in the platform.

This is why we are doing daily curation reports, and at the end of each week we will choose the best 3 articles, in this way, we educate and reward at the same time.

Celf as an Artistic Magazine

This is our other facet, we are also a digital magazine, in which we join our efforts to produce quality content especially for Steemit and its users, we think that the idea of ​​having a digital magazine that creates quality artistic content especially for Steemit, is very attractive.

• What kind of content?

Our content will seek to innovate in the different artistic currents, in order to share the new trends of the creative world, in order to achieve the growth of them in our artistic community of Steemit, while we create and develop our profiles as artists allowing more users to find a place to reflect on art.

Our first section as a magazine

La taberna de Platón (Plato's tavern)

"Plato's tavern", referring to the "Allegory of the Cave" by Plato, is a cinema club born to project more than shadows, the inclusion of emerging audiovisual proposals will be accompanied by film projections of films already established by the academy, with the purpose of presenting to the audience, material that allows them to broaden their perception of reality, understanding it from different angles and points of view from a reflective and artistic discourse.

We also have other proposals, on which we will provide information in the coming days. Our goal is to finance all these activities with STEEM, and thus promote and publicize Steemit too.
