LIGHT OF THE FAMILY

A father is the head of the family and a mother is the “light of the family”, when I was a kid, I’m wondering why all mothers called them as a light of the family wherein they don’t have lights, I only knew when I was studying. Mother called as the light of the family because they secure the whole family, she’s the one who cares the most, she cooks, she clean the house, she teaches and take good care of her children, she do the dishes and laundry, she prepare everything. In short every mother lights up the life of her children, she loves her children with all her heart and soul.

4 For God said, ‘Honor your father and mother’and ‘Anyone who curses their father or mother is to be put to death.’ 5 But you say that if anyone declares that what might have been used to help their father or mother is ‘devoted to God,’ 6 they are not to ‘honor their father or mother’ with it. Thus you nullify the word of God for the sake of your tradition.Matthew 15:4-6
