Daily Celestial Challenge: Forces In Nature
Enjoying the #celestialchallenge initiated by @sirknight, in today’s theme ”FORCES IN NATURE”, I am showcasing one of my favorite images which I named "Heaven's Crest"
The photo was taking in Saint Helena Bay which is approximately 150km north of Cape Town, South Africa. St Helena Bay is the spot where the Portuguese explorer, Vasco da Gama, first set foot in South Africa in 1497. Today it is a tranquil fishing village with a large fish processing plants canning pelagic fish.
The location of this photo is very close to the surf spot dubbed Heaven. It is a magical wave reef break with an equally intimidating shore break which you have to paddle through in order to get to the wave. Certainly not for the faint of heart.
