Lions in contrast to Humans. (Daily Celestial Challenge)

As we have commonly heard, lions being the ‘king of the jungle’, little do we realize that lions usually are found on grasslands rather than in jungles, it’s a common myth probably mistaken due to Africa being heavily populated by lions in some long forgotten era and Africa’s jungles. These are two very different aspects Africa is famous for! Unfortunately, we have merged the two, hence the confusion!

Lions are famous in the world of animals for being gender sensitive when it comes being dominant, like all animals (man being one too!) males are the head, they play a vital role in defending the pride’s territory on the other hand females are responsible for major part of hunting. Albeit females hunt, males still keep their honour and are the first to eat, much like men!

Unfortunately, these majestic cats are facing habitat loss.
