Daily Celestial Challenge -Darkness and 'The Hope' within.

A blessed day to all Steemians out there. I have decided to write on today's #celestialchallenge which so happens to be my very first, initiated by @sirknight.

"What would be the significance of the candlelight, if there were no darkness? What would be the power of stars over our minds, if there was no night?" - C. Joybell C.

Many a time i have often found myself contemplating questions such as, just what exactly is the purpose of this darkness? Why can't mankind be rid of darkness once and for all?
It was not until recently i arrived at a conclusion. If we do not experience the horrors of the dark, then how are we to appreciate the warmth of the light? The answer is simple. We wouldn't.
In order to cherish something we have to first of all be starved of it. Otherwise how can we say that something is good? There is no success without failure. To stay away from failure we work extremely hard in order to succeed and be 'successful'. This can easily be likened to we as humans working tiringlessly to escape from the darkness and run to the light. But this reaction cannot come about without the experiences of the dark.
What i am saying in a nutshell is simple. The darkness must be embraced and accepted because it is only in the darkest of nights that the light shines the brightest. And in the diriest of times does the hope standest strong.....
