Shrine as a symbol of undying love and devotion- Temple of Leah

We have been living in Cebu for nearly a decade and almost 5 years in Busay, Though it is a popular tourist spot and just 5 minutes away from where we live needless to say we never visted Temple of Leah. It is only when the boys turned 5 and 3 that we decided to visit and see this place.

As what I have learned. Similar to reason Taj Mahal was built, Temple of Leah is a shrine also built as a symbol of undying love of man to his beloved late wife. Temple is estimated 80 million pesos worth or 1.6 million dollars. This huge edifice or structure of Roman Architecture inspired design is located at Uptown Busay, Cebu City. The location also features a great uphill view of the city. If you want to visit Cebu, include this on your bucket as it would be a pleasant experience as this place is like no other.
