I’m excited to launch a brand new community-driven project here on hive-109690:
👉 SteemAtlas Adventures
What is it?
SteemAtlas Adventures invites you to share posts about interesting places you've visited – cities, villages, nature spots, or hidden gems – and connect them with the SteemAtlas world map.
Our goal is to build a living, growing user-generated map filled with real stories, travel photos, and personal impressions.
Whether it’s a family trip, a hike, a picnic spot, or your favorite street – we want to see it through your eyes!
How to Join:
- Create a post in our community: hive-109690
- Include:
- ✅ At least 5 original photos
- ✅ A short personal story or reflection
- ✅ Location info (City/Country or GPS)
- ✅ (Optional) A link to that place on SteemAtlas
- Use the tag: `steematlasadventures
- 🔖 Add a tag with the name of the country (e.g. #germany, #nepal, #mexico)
- Suggested title format:
“Exploring [Place Name] – SteemAtlas Adventure #[YourNumber]"

To make your travel post valuable, well-structured, and eligible for curation by the community and SteemAtlas, please follow the guidelines below.
✅ What Your Post Should Include:
At least 5 original, high-quality photos
– Clear, well-composed images of the location
– Avoid blurry, dark, or irrelevant picturesA personal story or travel experience
– What makes this place special to you?
– Why should others visit it?Location information
– Mention the city/town and country
– Bonus: GPS coordinates or Google Maps linkOptional: Link to the place on SteemAtlas
– Or suggest a new one if it’s not listed yet!Use the correct tag and community
– Tag your post with#steematlasadventures
– And publish it in hive-109690
❗ Please Avoid:
- Low-effort posts made only for rewards
- Stock photos or AI-generated content
- Posts with very little text or no personal input
- Copy-pasted travel info without your own experience
Bonus Tip:

Where will you take us next?
Since I already have some experience creating posts on @steem-atlas, I want to share some information.
To create your own post, you need to go to the website
SteemAtlas and click on button No. 1 (as shown in the screenshot)
As a result, you will be asked to set a label on the map that corresponds to your location.
As soon as you put a label on the map, an editor opens for you in which you can create your post.
Be sure to include #hive-109690 as the first tag, then the post will appear in our community.
It is advisable to specify the beneficiary -steem-atlas- to support the development of the project.
I hope that my words will help you navigate this program faster.

I am already working as an Atlas Ambassador and I am moderating the posts from the users especially about their pin location and if they are added to the right place or not.
If you need any moderator to verify the Steem Atlas adventure posts then I can give my services.
You can check my work. If you are interested then please let me know and we can make it more better. To moderate and check the pin posts experience is required which I have gained while working as an Atlas Ambassador for more than a month.
I have written some detailed guides to use Steem Atlas as well.

Please don’t worry – learning how to use location features or tags takes a bit of time, and it’s totally okay if it doesn’t work right away.

Setting a minimum word count is a great way to encourage more meaningful, detailed posts and discourage ultra-short entries just for rewards.
I think something like at least 250–300 words is fair – enough to tell a personal story, describe the place, and offer some travel value.
I’ll go ahead and include that in the next update to the Posting Guidelines and the contest rules.
