Looking ๐ back ๐ this ๐๐ป past week ๐๏ธ, I went for a couple of gatherings ๐ป๐ง๐ปโ๐คโ๐ง๐ป with old ๐จ๐ปโ๐ฆณ๐ต๐ป friends ๐ญ and colleagues ๐ฉ๐ปโ๐ฆฑ๐ฉ๐ปโ๐ฆฐ๐จ๐ปโ๐ฆฐ๐ฑ๐ป . Old ๐จ๐ปโ๐ฆณ๐ต๐ป friends ๐ญ from school ๐ซ๐๐ days, some flew back home for a couple of weeks for the summer โฑ๏ธ holidays and old ๐จ๐ปโ๐ฆณ๐ต๐ป colleagues ๐ฉ๐ปโ๐ฆฑ๐ฉ๐ปโ๐ฆฐ๐จ๐ปโ๐ฆฐ๐ฑ๐ป who were leaving the company in a couple of weeks ๐๏ธ. It is always fun ๐บ๐ป๐๐ป and laughter ๐คฃ to meet ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ๐๐ปup, to eat, to chat ๐ฃ๏ธ๐ฌ, to catch๐๐ปโโ๏ธ๐๐ป up โคด๏ธ and to remember ๐ง the good ๐๐ป๐ old ๐จ๐ปโ๐ฆณ๐ต๐ป times โฐ.
For those whom we ๐ฉ๐ปโ๐ฆฑ๐ฉ๐ปโ๐ฆฐ๐จ๐ปโ๐ฆฐ๐ฑ๐ป have not ๐ซโ๏ธ met for years, we ๐ฉ๐ปโ๐ฆฑ๐ฉ๐ปโ๐ฆฐ๐จ๐ปโ๐ฆฐ๐ฑ๐ป are reminded ๐ง of our times โฐ when we ๐ฉ๐ปโ๐ฆฑ๐ฉ๐ปโ๐ฆฐ๐จ๐ปโ๐ฆฐ๐ฑ๐ป were younger, when we ๐ฉ๐ปโ๐ฆฑ๐ฉ๐ปโ๐ฆฐ๐จ๐ปโ๐ฆฐ๐ฑ๐ป were silly ๐๐ and when we ๐ฉ๐ปโ๐ฆฑ๐ฉ๐ปโ๐ฆฐ๐จ๐ปโ๐ฆฐ๐ฑ๐ป were kids ๐ง๐ป๐ง๐ป๐ฆ๐ป. It was as though we ๐ฉ๐ปโ๐ฆฑ๐ฉ๐ปโ๐ฆฐ๐จ๐ปโ๐ฆฐ๐ฑ๐ป never โ๏ธ parted. We reminisced ๐ง the past ๐๏ธ and we ๐ฉ๐ปโ๐ฆฑ๐ฉ๐ปโ๐ฆฐ๐จ๐ปโ๐ฆฐ๐ฑ๐ป laughed ๐คฃ at all our silly antics ๐๐ back ๐ then. For those who were leaving ๐ถ๐ปโโ๏ธ, we ๐ฉ๐ปโ๐ฆฑ๐ฉ๐ปโ๐ฆฐ๐จ๐ปโ๐ฆฐ๐ฑ๐ป laughed ๐คฃat the times โฐ of working ๐ป๐ฅ๏ธ together and chatted ๐ฃ๏ธ๐ฌ about what the future ๐ฎ may be for each of us.
When it comes to bidding each other farewell ๐๐ป๐๐ปโโ๏ธ, it is never โ๏ธ really a farewell ๐๐ป๐๐ปโโ๏ธ. I have a feeling we will meet ๐ค again somewhere, somehow, for one reason or another. It is probably sad ๐ for a bit but when you think ๐ก about it, it is not โ๏ธ as though we ๐ฉ๐ปโ๐ฆฑ๐ฉ๐ปโ๐ฆฐ๐จ๐ปโ๐ฆฐ๐ฑ๐ปmeet ๐คeveryday ๐๏ธ anyway.
So, I guess it is more of "till we ๐ฉ๐ปโ๐ฆฑ๐ฉ๐ปโ๐ฆฐ๐จ๐ปโ๐ฆฐ๐ฑ๐ป meet ๐ค again" and we ๐ฉ๐ปโ๐ฆฑ๐ฉ๐ปโ๐ฆฐ๐จ๐ปโ๐ฆฐ๐ฑ๐ป will be in touch ๐ค๐ป๐ค๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป. Technology ๐ฑ๐ป๐ฑ๏ธ is amazing isn't it? The world ๐๐๐ is indeed flat ๐บ๏ธ, wherever we go, just like what Thomas Friedman says in his book "The World ๐๐๐ is Flat ๐บ๏ธ".

IT world is small, we always bump into our ex colleagues or old friends in some common place like shopping center or event.

I'm so glad to hear that you had an enjoyable time reuniting with old friends. That's what the past two days have been for me since I got home, though just with my immediate family :)
