When it comes to cannabis, I use both marijuana/weed and hemp, but I'm finding that the hemp side is a bit more beneficial to my personal health, but I always enjoy a good bowl when I do not have to go anywhere right away.
A week ago last Friday, I bought some hemp oil from my local CBD store. I walked in and asked if there were any tinctures that he had that were good for microdosing (I was thinking about 1 mg or less of hemp extract), and this was one of them that he recommended. 1 drop is just about 1 mg, with half a dropper full at 4 mg. Just to note, "Full Spectrum CBD" means any amount of cannabidiol (CBD), cannabinol (CBN), cannabigerol (CBG), and cannabichromen (CBC), as well as any of their acidic counterparts (i.e. THCa or CBDa).
I love tinctures because they tend to have more consistency, and the droppers help you dose how much you are intaking. Just 1 drop provides fast-acting relief if you need to ease anxiety or stress and go throughout your day without too much sedation.
With the presence of other cannabinoids in hemp besides CBD, you can reduce pain, beat stress while also maintaining motivation, use it to help you fall asleep, and much more.
I guess that is sometimes also the downside of the product. Later on, you might feel a little sleepy or just want to relax. I also have not yet obtained a lab report on this product. Any person savvy of cannabis' medical uses should be able to know what is in their product, so they can judge which chemical compound/cannabinoid they want the most of to achieve a certain effect. Cannabis and its chemicals have different effects on any number of people, and that's why it is important to discuss it and research it to the best of our abilities, and advocate for more peer-reviewed study.
