Fat Donald! It's Caturday!
He wasn't always "Fat" Donald. He was a young, slim kitty once upon a time... We adopted him when he was 4 months old down in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
But then I brought this into the house:
Donald was not amused... this is his "I hate you" face.
Once we added Tippy to the house, Donald started to over eat. Here is a recent pic from when he decided that I didn't need to be on my laptop and he just plopped down between me and it. This picture makes him look a little fatter than he really is though, lol lens distortion.
Here he is... Fat Donald. Ten years old. He's a grumpy thing, amazing mouser and won't back down from a fight with that mean stray we call "Orange Kitty" that has claimed our yard as his own.
A cat’s eyesight is both better and worse than humans. It is better because cats can see in much dimmer light and they have a wider peripheral view. It’s worse because they don’t see color as well as humans do. Scientists believe grass appears red to cats.
