Registration and Affiliation III
For those wishing to be in the showing scene it is a necessity and behaviour at events will also dictate registered status. Some breeds may have specific registration and breeding policies and this is something that all should be aware of. There are a number of supplementary material and support that associations can provide to those seeking guidance. The guidance will also assist those looking for new kittens from other registered breeders. There are prescribed rules that much be followed when kittens are being raised and listed for sale. Comparing this and interacting with the breeder in question will indicate their stance on breeding policies. For certain buyers there will be requirements that they will need to specify and ask about beforehand. Many breeders will be understanding and willing to accommodate within a fair capacity. While registered cats and kittens fetch a higher price than those that are not, the assurance and regulation is something worth paying for.
