Rainy Sundays
The weather seems to have definitely turned, the temperature has dropped and it seems like we are entering an early fall. The tuxedo brothers don’t seem to quite know what to do with this.
They’ve been aimlessly walking around indoors all day, stuck in a never ending cycle of eating and snoozing in every available spot. One of them briefly braved the rain, before scampering back inside a few seconds later, loudly complaining, disgruntled and unimpressed by all that water falling from the sky.
Having been spoiled by an unusually sunny summer, it appears the tuxedo brother are suffering from a spell of seasonal affective disorder. It’s all doom and gloom in this kitty household today.

Yes, they do mostly get on well. There are the occasional fights which usually start out with one of them forcefully grooming the other one, whilst the latter is trying to escape being washed.

Seems to be happening all over the place! Here in the northwestern USA it has turned gray and misty after months of relentless sunshine. The back porch from which I get to lay on the warm surface and survey the world when the Humans are out... is now wet and cold. Ack! Give me a warm woolly blanket on a chair!

Ah, I thought it was only dreary old England which decided to wave summer goodbye. I suppose rain is needed after such a dry season. I am hoping for a return of moderately sunny weather in September though.
Thank you for the kind comment about the boys. Judging by their attitude, they sure think of themselves as handsome too. 😆 Somehow their black fur never comes out right in pictures though... not sure if that’s due to the low quality of the mobile phone camera.
