A cat's love
We all want to believe that our cats love us.
Cats are often unfairly dubbed as aloof or cold in comparison to dogs because dogs are more visibly loving while cats are usually more discreet about showing love.
I can't help but think our little girl loves us and some ways in how she shows us are:
• Follows us around.
• Blinks at us. A long slow blink is a cat equivalent of a kiss
• Meows. Cats do not meow to other cats, only to humans
• Licks us. An honour – you are considered part of your cat’s family
Ok so now I'm off to cuddle my little blue eyed baby... They are such a great calming force
The oldest cat on record was Crème Puff from Austin, Texas, who lived from 1967 to August 6, 2005, three days after her 38th birthday. A cat typically can live up to 20 years, which is equivalent to about 96 human years.
Cats make about 100 different sounds. Dogs make only about 10.
I agree - they are classic and selective with expressions of love! To be appreciated when received 😁
Yes, well said. thanks @mysecondself01🐱
