The Old Rock Creek Creamery getting tires out

in #cat7 years ago (edited)

Tires tires and more tires. The property was overgrown with burdock and volunteer trees. After clearing much of the growth it was time to start gathering tires and begin proper disposal.vlcsnap-2017-08-30-14h41m32s905.pngvlcsnap-2017-08-30-14h45m43s464.pngvlcsnap-2017-08-30-15h02m29s623.pngvlcsnap-2017-08-30-14h44m43s534.png
So all I had to work with at this point was the little Swinger 22020170424_175505.jpg
And the John Deere 317 with the grader blade. It is similar to this 318 and has a blade where the mower deck would hang.20171219_145626[1].jpg
I was able to get most of the tires collected and loaded.

The spring rains were making things slow and the little loader was not enough for this job. Even though I was trying to maintain things20170802_185654.jpg

The rains continued and the ground was to soft to continue. It was time to bring in bigger equipment, I was finished at another location with it.20170714_105501.jpg

Now the Old D6 dozer and the 910 loader are on the scene .20170802_185705.jpg20170729_204124.jpg20170813_211030.jpg20170813_211000.jpg

The rains were relentless and things became unworkable for a period.20170816_181904.jpg20170720_200946.jpg

It was time to give this a break and work on something new. To be continued.
