Its really that Vegas Feeling minus the Strip
Hello once again, so this is my 100th Post, pretty excited to talk about Solaire. Solaire is a Resort and Casino, currently is Situated as far away from the Metropolitan Area as possible and there is only one Road getting in and getting out of there there. Security is moderate, however expect full on car inspections because you will hit 3 check points before you get anywhere near the lobby or parking garage.
The parking garage boast 10 floors, however still not enough parking spaces to accommodate everyone who goes there.
The parking garage is where I took the above photo, I went there at night around 9pm. My first impression is this place never sleeps and reminds me alot like vegas minus the south and north strip. Since Security is actually pretty moderate, and by that meaning, there is many eyes on the casino floor and everywhere, Solaire Boast a pretty huge and well organized casino Floor.
Let me start from the beginning so I can help you paint a picture, unlike Vegas or Landing in Reno, you are not overwhelmed by Slot Machines, once we parked and got into the elevators, we didn't see one Slot Machine, until you ride the elevator down to the main lobby is when you start hearing the sounds of Slot Machines. You will encounter the last checkpoint and you will be checked once again, with a thorough screening. Basically they Are after people with Guns, I'm not sure if they are aware of the tech gadgets used to exploit casino software. Anyway, from the entrance you move past the guards and enter the casino.
The Casino itself is well organized into square Islands and the edges of the casino are occupied by Virtual Slot Machines. Everything that i've seen here is Virtual or Software on a Screen. I've not seen one old school slot machine where there is a electrical motor. Everything here is Software on a Screen.
Most of the games I've seen so far are:
- Baccarat
- Roulette
- Wheel of Fortune
I need you to keep this in mind guys, the reason why I only seen these 3 games is because this casino is really meant to take your money and reduce some overhead on catching people counting cards. Everything in terms of games is really meant to take your money and give as little payout as possible. Again this is my opinion, but I did a few minutes researching strategies on how to win with some casino games, these 3 games offer little or no strategy to give favor to the player. Everything played in the casino is really luck based.
I did not see:
- Black Jack
- Poker
- Texas Hold Em
These three games have well known strategies to give the favor to the player. However Solaire does not boast "come here and play and have fun", it really boasts "Welcome, Play and literally test your Luck".
One of the few Highlights of the night were a few things:
- You can smoke anywhere on the casino floor, I loved this!!!
- You play long enough, you get free shit, like Water and Coffee hahahahahha
- The staff that walks the floors are meant to really serve you ( They will literally give you pain killers like Tylenol or Advil)
- The staff will try to work with you and hold your seat while you use the bathroom or something
Anyway, So we hit up the mini bar near this restaurant called FRESH, so we ordered Stella Artois.
Very relaxing at the mini bar at night, I'm glad the Bar was far away from the Casino Floor as possible. Hearing the Sounds of people getting pissed at losing and hearing the casino games takes a toll on your senses. Also I was walking around and enjoying the sights. There is a lot of High end retail shops like Bvlgari and Coach. There's many others but mostly on the high end side of things.
To end the night, I want to show you something, i'm not sure if I was allowed to take this photo, but since no one stopped me or no signs said no pictures allowed. What you are about to see is the VIP section of Solaire located on the 2nd floor, it is secretly and quietly guarded by more Elite Security.
To explain this picture, Solaire is isolated for a reason. It is basically THE CASINO to fly in High Rollers on Private Jets and bring them there to play privately. You want to play and have live karaoke, hot women in scantily dressed mini skirts, while you sippling Pino Colada from their Breast like cupholders, these private rooms will provide these high rollers anything you can imagine. The Doors are thick and boast bullet proof protection in case something bad happens. You thought the stuff in the movies didn't exist. Trust me, after seeing a portion of what i saw inside the rooms, this is called a VIP section for a reason.
It was a great night, it was my first time going on to the Casino's in a long time. Hope my explanation of what Solaire is helped you guys out.
