My First Time to Play Cashflow101

I just had an amazing experience in my first time to play Rich Dad's game: Cashflow 101.

If you have read Robert Kiyosaki's series or at least his Rich Dad Poor Dad book, I know you're familiar with his often mentioned product of the Rich Dad company which is the Cashflow 101.

He mentioned that this game would change the way we view money and investments since it will teach us how to get out of the Rat Race. I am here to support what he said! I know that it was my first time to play the game, but with that experience, I am certain when I say "I learned a lot!".

In the game, I came across many terms in business and investments-- which I haven't appreciated much in the past.

So as an overview of the Cashflow 101

There should be a moderator and a banker. They could be the same person though, just like during our game. He/she is responsible of handling/distributing/accepting the money to you as you sell/buy investments and as you have your payday periods.

Before we officially start the game, we were given with paper that contains the income statement and balance sheet blank parts where we could write our respective information after we picked a profession.

_{Yeah! I have picked the Airline Pilot as my profession in the game. You can see there my expenses & income statement. Pardon me because it is already crumpled. 😅}

You would edit your paper along the game because you'd have additional investments that would add up to your monthly cashflow or you could also have expenses and liabilities depending on the card that you would draw during your turn.

There are 4 kinds of cards that are involved in the game:

• Doodad
  Simply, additional expenses. (Basing on how I understood it.)

• Small Deals
  Deals that you may invest your money into to have passive income amd add up to your monthly cashflow in return. (If your money is $5000 down.)

• Big Deals
  These are other deals also intended or available only if your money is $5001 and up.

• Market
  These are cards that would give you scenarios like the market in real life. Example, properties that need buyers scenarios.

The goal of the game is for you to have passive income that could be equal or more compared to your monthly expenses.

I cannot enumerate here all of the technicalities since there are a lot of scenarios in the game. However, I am praying in the future to have my own board! So that I could teach others how to play as well.

P.S After 2 hours, I still haven't got out of the Rat Race. Hahahah! 😂🤑
