Could Cash be the Best Investment of 2018

Stocks are at all time highs
Bonds have had an amazing 30 year run
Real Estate is up big
Oil has rebounded
Cryptos had an incredible run in 2017
Gold may be off recent highs, but is still up huge from where it was in 2000.

Nothing looks cheap. Do we chase returns, or take some off the table? Cash does pay interest albeit very low at the moment. Remember cash as an investment shines once everything else falls. So while holding cash you may feel stupid as Ray Dalio pointed out in Davos, when you need the cash you will feel very smart and happy you have it.
