Lexus dealers can't get rid of supercars 🚗
Hi Steemians!
Recall that the Lexus LFA was released in a limited edition of only 500 copies, each worth 375 thousand dollars. And the supercar over the years and did not have an ideological heir.
However, the us dealers in warehouses left at least 9 Lexus LFA with zero mileage. They were purchased because of the initial hype around the supercar. This became known from the reports of the premium brand on sales in the US market: judging by them, in July one supercar was sold, and six more last year.
Representatives of Toyota International explained to our colleagues from the American Autoblog how this could happen. Initially, Lexus passed cars directly to customers, but when the first wave of demand subsided, the company was allowed to order the owners of one supercar second instance, and dealers — to buy cars for themselves or for sale in showrooms. Cars with zero mileage certainly remained in other countries, but the company's representatives were not able to name their exact number.
However, it is impossible to consider as a failure that the circulation of Lexus LFA is still not sold out. First, the company received money for all 500 cars. Secondly, buying a new car is not such an easy task. A representative of one of the dealers said that he would never sell their LFA. So wishing today to get a six-year car with zero mileage is to be patient and a lot of cash.
