Most recently, General Motors presented a new generation of Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 2017. And the model was even more powerful than expected, and there were interesting "goodies".

Weight of the car decreased by 91 kilograms thanks to new composite materials.

The main changes in the Camaro ZL1: new comfortable Recaro seats and steering wheel together with the gear lever, fitted with suede. Now in the novelty there are no buttons for controlling the air-conditioner, their work is performed by the ventilation vents installed on the front panel of the car, which are equipped with special rings-edging, which allow to regulate the temperature and blowing power. Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 has a large internal space, which affects the comfort of passengers, and easy access to buttons and switches facilitates control of the driver over the car. As an option, ZL1 offers a Performance Data Recorder installation - a telemetry recording system that provides all the necessary information about the operation of the car's systems.

TECHNICAL INNOVATIONS
The Camaro ZL1 2017 is equipped with a 6-speed MPP, but at the request of the customer the car can be equipped with a 10-speed automatic device, developed in cooperation with Ford.

Another novelty is a chassis of the "Magnetic Ride" type, which can automatically adapt to any driving mode and road surface. So, it will not be necessary to buy an additional sports package, so that the ZL1 is ready for a ride on the track. Also, a pleasant surprise will be the appearance of the Quick Launch Control feature. New brakes, electronic locking rear differential, traction control - all this absorbed the novelty of Chevrolet.

The automaker decided to equip the novelty with a turbocharged V8 engine with a 6.2 liter displacement volume from the Corvette Z06, which was deformed for 10 horsepower. As a result, this power unit gives a return of 640 forces. The predecessor of the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 was armed with a motor capacity of 580 "horses". Thus, the customers of the renewed sports car are hoping for a significant increase in its speed and dynamic characteristics.
