Petrolheads are CAlling - Glamorgan Classic Car Meet UP 2017 #1
Cardiff City -UK 2017-Petrolheads -Classic Car Show -Restored
This weekend Cardiff Bay hosted a classic car meet up mainly the Glamorgan Classic Car Club displayed their cars
including such as Mercedes, BMW, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Ford and of course some real beauty from the 1950`s
So let's take a look the first car which I have come across
This is a Ford Capri Pick UP Custom modified from 1970
AKA ====> The Plum Crazy .... :D
This modified Ford Capri comes from 1970 which is very proud of his Ford Essex V6 3.1 L engine built by Flow Tech Racing.
Essex V6, capable of 138 hp (103 kW)
As you will see on the pictures the upholstery is also custom made thanks to his owner Dave Moon.
Who is that guy in driver seat ???
NO, It`s not Dave for sure, however, it tells about his passion the one and only

Having a bit of chat with Dave he tells me more about how did he found this car 10 years ago and how much money and work he did put it in. Since then the car went through a lot of repairs and spend a lot of his time in a garage but ...

The car was named Colt during its development years, but Ford was unable to use the name, as it was a registered trademark by Mitsubishi.
The rear suspension very nicely restored as well and you can see a live axle supported on leaf springs with short radius rods
This car is superbly refurbished underneath as well ...
Say Hi to this nice fella I am sure he will be back next year ...
More to Come such as an Italian designed BMW Isetta from 1956 and a Mercedes C250 from 1970 ...
