It's Car Show Season in the Northeast

It's the end of April and the beginning of car show season. Tonight I thought I'd share some photos from the last car show I went to.

Last September @donvee and I attended the New England Shake-Up for the first time. The Shake-Up is held the last full weekend each September in Sturbridge, Massachusetts.

The main feature of the Shake-Up is the live music. Bands like Big Sandy & His Fly-Rite Boys, The Barnshakers, and Lil Mo & The Unholy 4 played all weekend. There were stroll and jive classes, a pool party, and a small car show.

I managed to snag an amazing deal on a Trashy Diva dress from one of the vendors. There was a lot of vintage clothing for sale both at the car show, and in the indoor vendor space at the hotel.

We found some time to sneak away and get some delicious cupcakes from Whoopie-Doo and Cupcakes Too.

We'd love to attend the Shake-Up again this year, but still haven't made any definite plans yet. There are so many things going on that weekend this year.

The paint on this truck was crazy.

I think if the husband is able to finish the Plymouth, we'll cruise up to New England this September.
