Looks like there is new tendency in Japaneese designing studios to put some run-outs here and there. Take a look at Toyota GT86 and now this new Supra. Maybe they have found the secret of aerodynamics.
My mate had a white UK spec twin-turbo (lightly bodykitted and upgraded zorst). I had a couple of rides in it and it was scary quick (well, compared to owt I'd been in before). It's such a monster that yeah, will the new one live up to the name? He paid £10,000 for it several years ago and got the same back when he part-ex for EVO X.
He misses the Supra but he's since found out it's no longer in the UK.
I don't mind a german inline turbo six! There would have a to be a manual option as well. I'm excited for the release, I just hope it looks as close to the FT-1 concept as possible.
These models look terribly completely different, however a similar platform is beneath. they give the impression of being quite exciting for terribly completely different reasons

STOPVery curious to see what engine the "Supra" has. And it's only a matter of time until someone throws in a 2JZ...
I bet it has a BMW engine... 330hp 3.0 and a 2.0 option its rumoured. So yeah 2JZ with a big single will be fitted for sure lol.

The dazzle-camo does a good job of hiding the 'arse-curves' unfortunately.......... but then I s'pose it wouldn't be 'camo' ;)

platform sharing is common nowdays, what i am interested is what kinda engine and drivetrain the car is running
330hp 3.0 and a 2.0 option is rumoured. Almost certainly an auto gearbox, the GT86 is the raw sports car don't forget.

Yeah you're right, BMW is working with Toyota, so more than likely these cars share a similar chassis and components.
