Ares Stingray Restoration Design C2
Original Builder Modena, Italy has revealed a number of projects they have developed, and Stingray was apparently so the most tempting. The work began with the 1960s Corvette base and bring them into the modern era. It includes powertrain more steady in the form, such as the LS3 engine that you find in the new Corvette C6 (made between 2005 and 2013).
6.2 litre V8 engine tuned to produce 518 horsepower, is transmitted to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and differential Viper Hammerhead.
The new engine installation requires machining 23 holes in the firewall and new drilling for new cable lines. This process also requires a special fuel tank installation, modify the legs, installing new exhaust, and installing the hood typical 427.
Everything is sustained by a 19 inch alloy wheels in the front and 20 inches in the rear, with LED lights to provide illumination.
