Wow, my father has talked so often about restoring older vehicles and I never really saw the joy in it that he did. After reading though you restoration project I have a deeper understanding of all the hard work that goes into it and why these projects can end up be super meaningful!
I'm telling you it's like a journey to the end of the world only you never even leave the shop, haahaa.
But seriously it is meaningful and in the end not even really about cars. For me the most striking thing was how relaxed I was after working on it for days. It is working with your hands instead of a mouse and keyboard that just gives you so much. Whether you build a car or a chair or a boat or a house is really beside the point.
