AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM - COMPRESSOR

in #cars7 years ago

Refrigerant intake and compression methods are almost the same as those for the Fixed Swash Plate Compressor.

The required amount of refrigerant gas is sucked in and compressed by changing the pressure balance within the compressor. The swash plate angle can be adjusted, which forces the piston to make larger or smaller strokes. This enables stable temperature control and improved driving feeling.

• Control chamber pressure > Inlet chamber pressure: Swash plate angle decrease

• Control chamber pressure ≤ Inlet chamber pressure: Swash plate angle increase

• Inlet pressure is lower than standard value 2.0kgf/cm2 .

• Diaphragm shrinking → Control valve open

• Outlet gas enter to Control chamber (Control chamber pressure is increased. )

• Swash plate angle is decreased.

• Inlet pressure is higher than standard value 2.0kgf/cm2 .

• Diaphragm expansion → Control valve close

• Outlet gas can not enter to Control chamber ( Control chamber pressure is decreased. )

• Swash plate tilting angle is increased.

I hope that this short explanation has served you. Regards!!
