It was actually an old news, but I just want to recall it again, maybe some of the reader might now or forgot about it just like I did, But it was a bit a vogue for a known industry that produce a motorcycle then decided to take a 180 degree to create an automobile, or is it just me maybe. So then I decided to create a post about this, this suggestion was come from my friend lol.

Its called Yamaha Sports Ride Concept

Back in 2013 where Yamaha decided to create a car, it was created by the famous McLaren F1 designer, Gordon Murray. However it wasn't him that design the car, rather then was led by an ex-Toyota designer, Dezi Nagaya. Whole of them then gathered under the name of Yamaha then release then decided to show the concept car, wow that was like carrying 3 company to achieve a rather unique.. Vision maybe? what was Yamaha thinking anyway.

"It took about five months from design to realisation,"  - Dezi Nagaya

said by Nagaya, who worked with a Japanese-English Design group called 'Design & Realizations', based in Shizouka. But Nagaya himself is also credited Gordon Murray designing that then they poured into a real physical form of a car, all are inspired by of course, Yamaha motorbikes.

The Concept car is also had another strong point of which featured Gordon Murray's creation, iStream, a radical new carbonfibre technology which been developed in conjunction with Japanese firm Torays.  For whom Murray designed the Teewave sports car back in 2011.

The car itself has few information that is given during the show, only speculation, also Yamaha hasn't said anything yet on the powertrain that are used in this car, but it is known that it could housing a 1.0-litre three-cylinder engine that was mooted for its city car design. That engine was tipped to produce 70-80 bhp, but if uprated beyond 100bhp in an entry level like form, would be likely to give the car a power-to-weight ration in excess of 140 break horse power per tonne, which is around that of an Elise.

The Sports Ride Concept then shown in 2013's Tokyo show concept, the Motiv, which used Gordon Murrays iStream car creation process to underpin a rival for the Smart micro-car and alike. Yamaha's general manager of innovation, Masato Suzuki, confirmed at the time that different body style were also possible, it is an concept after all like it hasn't shown up till today? Then followed by Murray himself stating that convertible and sports car could be spun off the technology.
